Edna Boykin Cultural Center

First opened in 1919 as a vaudeville theater, the Edna Boykin Cultural Center is a 600+ seat performance & entertainment venue in Historic Downtown Wilson that offers a wide range of performances throughout the year. 

This multi-purpose space, owned by the City of Wilson and managed by Wilson Arts, is home to the Boykin Series and ACT! for Youth Series, as well as the G.R. Hammond Gallery in the front of the theater. It is currently open only during performances or by appointment and is available for rentals by contacting Wilson Arts at 252-291-4329.
