The City of Wilson and Historic Downtown Wilson are proud to announce their partnership with Grow with Google through Main Street America to empower our small businesses in rural North Carolina with digital skills.
With the help of our new North Carolina Grow with Google Digital Coach, Tierra Norwood, we will offer free, digital skills training for businesses who live and operate in Wilson and other small cities and towns across the state. Wilson was one of ten communities in the country chosen by Google and Main Street America for this grant partnership. With this grant funding, Wilson is able to offer free workshops, many of them virtual, and one-on-one help sessions to both local small businesses and businesses across the state of North Carolina. Offering these free trainings is especially critical as small businesses throughout the state – and the nation – work to be more competitive amid economic uncertainty. These trainings will help small business owners grow their earning potential through digital skills.
